I was in a job interview at B&N yesterday and was on the verge of a little panic attack. First of all, I walked into a medium size store on a Monday morning and there were employees everywhere! Two at cash, two at info, about three in the aisles shelving, straightening and DUSTING! Four in the cafe.
The guy took me through the tidy stock room (where there were three more employees unboxing) to his office and explained the management structure. They have eight managers. EIGHT. My store - same size - has half that! He said, "Tell me about a time when management came out with a new policy with which you disagreed and how you handled it."
Inside I was giggling hysterically, thinking "What? You want me to pick just one?!"
